I doubt shopee pay that much for fresher. Mostly it is because of stock appreciation, they earn that much.

NTU comp sci graduate here. I was offered a role in the blockchain industry as a decentralized app developer. Getting $8.7k sgd a month excluding bonuses & shares.

gatekeepers/hiring managers only look at university branding when you have nothing much to show, I personally think portfolio development is way more important.

Blockchain development = dead end work. At least you're getting paid a decent amount for it I guess
