Money come from business and revune. You're just a cost. Disposable cost.
Easily replacable.

Don't see what's so fascinating about the overpaid 10k per month developer.
Outsource to low budget company better

10k neurosurgeon not only do 1 operation per year. Multiple surgery per day. After care. Consultation etc.

SI for a 10k programmer to bring value, he need to develop an AI to assist the neurosurgeon to operate on damaged cell to make the neurosurgeon obselete.

Othwrise... High pay in tech is just because of consumerism.
People buy tech.
Same concept with why Hollywood actor 1 million per movie. Cause people buy movie.
Same reason why people pirate movies.
