Recruitment Agency Daily Rate Charging %

I am currently on a daily rate paid by the resource agency. This agency is taking about 48% of my daily rate as their fee from the client. I find that it is way too much they are crawling from the gross rate paid by the client. I would like know what should be the normal rate of charging from the daily rate for a professional role. Thanks.
