I have 6 yrs of working experience, with a degree, but no one called me for interview also after close to 1 mth. Does it mean I'm not qualified? Do we need a masters degree to teach in a poly?

what honours you got? from where?
masters is not required.

This is utter rubbish.. I have so many PhD sitting around me and they are still lecturer after all these years. You don't get promoted to DD just because you have a PhD. You get promoted because your boss likes you and you get to do alot of spotlight projects, or get to do tour of duty at corporate or MOE, and when there is vacancy. You are obviously not a staff of any poly and giving wrong info
