5 out of 7

Question Salary ceiling

I have reached the ceiling off my level. If my performance remains average, will I ever get promoted?

If you maintain average performance I.e. C/c+, you should
Get one more after 7/8 years or @ 50 years old and that will be all..

That day I came across same data (don't ask me how).

The avg 50 y.o fellow at my poly is drawing 7.4k. The source is accurate and the figure is for you to have food for thought..

I think for that kind of job, there is little to complain about. I mean $7.4k pm will give you $7.4kx13 + 2x$7.4k = $111k pa for an average performer.

If married to another average performing lecturer, that is $222k pa household income. Upper middle income household already.

Any high level poly people here?

Apparently there is an adjustment in salary for MX11 scheme for civil service (see the discussion in this forum) with effect from AUG.

Any idea if the Poly and ITE is due for another round of revision or already in talks? Typically from talking till implementation may take 1 or 2 years.
