What is typical RSU and sign on?
Hello folks,
i got around S$10k as sign-on bonus for my current company and around 450 RSU stock.
is this a standard amount and how does it compare with average tech/MNC company? reading other threads online, everyone seem to talk about 100k sign on bonus etc.. i'm confused.

Need more info
RSU 450 pegged to what valuation?
what's base like? then you can gauge sign on from there

It's still a private company , RSU vesting period in 5 yeras (which i hope it'll go public by then)
so I'm not sure what's the valuation, is there a way to find out the estimated valuation?
base is around $100k

Sad
You accepted RSUs without knowing what they are worth from latest fund raising? They can issue 100 million shares in the next 5 years and your 450 RSUs will be worth nothing

Usually there is an internal price for RSU. E.g grab RSU was internally valued at $5-6 a year back. Check with your recruiter and find out more.
