Well, she managed to get a podcast interview over a GTP so kudos to her.

Anw, curious how easy is it to get into SUPER? Is there a Superday?

I'm pretty sure she's not part of GTP, UBS GTP analysts wouldn't be stuck in the same rank for over 3.5 years now.

Bruh, I didn't say she's in GTP... Read properly

If we were to spell out GTP fully, your sentence will look like this:

Well, she managed to get a podcast interview over a Graduate Talent Program so kudos to her.

Your interpretation would be correct if you said GTP Trainee rather than just GTP itself.

Anyway, back to the main question. How is the experience in SUPER program?

It totally depends on the division/team you are in. Some are stuck with admin tasks while others are exposed to valuable front office experiences

was part of this program. 99% of us are doing administrative duties without the opportunity for conversion.

Don’t spread nonsense. Just because you’re stuck with admin work does not mean everyone is stuck with admin work.

Anyone progressed pass the online interview stage for graduate programme? (not trainee one)

Heard from interns that they did not have headcount for GWM anymore but still see the graduate posting there. Probably for "show" only that ubs is still hiring...

Lol. Paying less than their interns. Speaking of which, my time interning at UBS was a complete waste of my time. Unbelievable they can throw a uni student into some garbage dept.

Advice you to seek out other opportunities and keep this as last resort.

How hard is it to get in?

I am from one of the top 3 local uni - accounting & finance. They selected me for the wealth management sales role but then said they selected someone more suitable for the role but they want me to interview with another group for the bank. Curious if anyone else faced this too? and what are the chances of getting an offer?

yes can confirm this. most of their interns/trainees are thrown tons of admin **** and end up learning nothing much.

Unregistered 01-05-2022 11:42 PM

yes I agree too. this program is just for them to get cheap labor. really regrate joining this program but back then the covid situation was tough. Now with a robust job market, only stupid fellows will join them.

Unregistered 02-05-2022 09:59 AM

CHEAP company. Other traineeship programs are paying more!

As long as u are not full-time staff, can kiss yr precious time GOODBYE!

Unregistered 07-05-2022 08:20 PM

Hi all, anyone have insights on the UBS global banking grad programme? What’s the salary and exit opportunities like? Worth joining anot cos it’s global banking? Usually banking only IB, markets and asset or wealth management considered the best right

If you don't even know what global banking is at UBS, please don't bother to apply. U will fail the first stage of interview anyway.
