MUFG, SMBC corporate rank structure

Just wanted to ask the public or anyone experienced working in the company. What is the corporate rank structure in these two jap bank like? I've seen a lot of information online that states officers > assistant managers > AVP > VP and so on..

But one of my peers was offered a role starting as an analyst, which made me very confused of the rank structure. Hopefully someone can advise. Thank you.

I was from MUFG before. They have starting roles for degree holders as officers, for those with more experience will start as senior officers.

Analyst is the same as officer ranks. It's just a nicer term I suppose

Anyone has any idea about smbc?

anyone knows what are the annual compensation range for AVP - VPs in mid office or back office?

Is senior officer now known as AVP?
