which sector are you looking to venture? CISSP is normally for ppl who is doing RISK or a requirement for management role in cyber.
i dun think any one will offer you an management role if you are new in cyber unless you join a start up who is desperate for resources.

Depends on what you want to do? I switched at 30, started from zero. Not gonna be easy but can do. Try going through job sites and the roles you want to try. Check the type of professional certs required and go for it. Good luck dude.

33 this year... Work in a FAANG as cyber security engineer. Make around 360k a year. Getting certs quite easy frankly... I have majority of the gold standard certs... And some that I take for fun during my free time... I think more importantly is how much value you can bring to the table to your employer...
