5th March joined hackathon.
10th March received conditional offer letter (pending per-employment check)
23rd March receive actual offer letter.

Hope that clears up the timeline

PS mine was:
5th March joined hackathon.
10th March Did not get conditional offer. Just: need more time to deliberate candidacy...
23rd March receive offer letter

Maybe I was one of the lucky ones that got a spot after others rejected
