I remember the HR mentioned the conditional offers are sent within a few days including weekends after the techtrek regardless of Jan/Jul batch. I picked July and received the conditional offer 4 hours after the event. So, if chances are very slim now

Wow congrats! I received an email 2 days after the dec Hackathon that HR was deliberating my candidacy and just got an an update that they are still deliberating my candidacy. Just wondering if anyone has been in my situation before, getting a little confused here.

This means you are the backup if someone doesnt pass the background check. I got my conditional offer within a day of the hackathon.

Ooh damn that hurts. But I guess the chances are real slim then since many would pass the background checks.
