Frankly, i would love to know too!
Unfortunately, there appears to be no replies. I got a feeling they are not allowed to disclose too much due to the sensitive nature of their job? :O

Pass degree that's why. NS is no big deal because it's not much of a differentiator when all SG males have to serve.
