I tried mature estate for 3 BTO and failed. Tried to BTO for Jurong west project, got double digit queue number.
I guess it is easier to get a non mature estate one

Who told you that voting for PAP will get you your BTO? You tio pianz liao lah. Why do you think they care whether you get or not?? Hello... you too insignificant for them to chup lah. They got much bigger and more important things to worry about like the calculating how much stamp duty they going to get by selling high priced property to foreigners trying desperately to get in.

You totally missed the point. This is probably humble bragging he had a girlfriend to BTO with. The mentioning of PAP is a distraction and you took the bait.

Hi I spend around $100 a month on insurance (CI, hospital, death, protection only). Is it reasonable?

you are left with 1250 every month. you can further reduce those expenses by getting a sim-only plan. 200 for telco?

Try not to eat too much cai png..balance is key. 20 dollars a day can give you better food if you plan out.

30M, fintech mnc
Take home ~9.3k
Food - 1.3k
Rent - 2k
Parent allowance - 1k
Entertainment, fitness and transport - 1.5k
Bills (telco etc) - around 400 I think
I know many will say I spend a lot, but it is difficult to cut back once you get accustomed to certain habits. For food I try to get quality food in as I see it as a health investment, rarely have time to cook however.
Really trying to boost my income in the next 5-10 years and also move from renting to owning my own house
