You hang around poor losers living in HDBs, you probably live in one as well. No surprise you have 0 idea.
It is basic numbers. It is not even an opinion.

Will $500 or $2000 a month make them any happier if they already have enough? Maybe but they will probably be happier if you make it a point to bring them out on holidays, and have meals with them because time is priceless.

Work in bank, 150k pa base, bonus can be anything from 4-6 months
I give my parents $200 each a month because they do not want more
Food = $1k a month
Insurance = $500 a month
Shopping = $200 a month
Transport = $200 a month
Rent & utilities = $2.5k a month
Fixed investment into various portfolios = $4.5k a month
Crypto investments = $500 a month
Limited cash savings of about $2k a month, already have ~$150k savings and dont want too much cash although I am planning to buy a condo within next 2 years
I save all my bonus and allow myself to buy one new bag (~$10k) and have a good holiday (~$5k) every year
I rejected parents help for down payment for my condo because I want to save for it myself
May I know what u work as? Private banking / CF?

Please don't mix up. I am the one whom you all insult as having low iq and eq. The guy who tried to Diss others for living in HDB flats is a different person.

Sure I'm "stupid" but I have more dignity than that. Despite all the personal attacks against me, I have never insulted you guys back.

23k per month, but spend close to 21k on operational expenses, insurance, luxury purchases (on average) and parents' maintenance. I'm supposed to save my bonus of 95k but spent almost 70% already on luxury goods.

Cannot afford car is your own subjective idea. I earn about 100k/year and had 60k cash left after paying in full for a car.

I know someone worse off...taking full loan for house and renovation, and also full loan a car.

There's lots of dealers selling cars with loans and some car owners literally do not have the cash to pay it off immediately if they needed to.

So to claim that you cant afford a car as you have 500k cash and 150k TC (whatever that means) is no less than yucky humble bragging. Eew eew eew.
