This thread is so entertaining. First time seeing someone say singtel that's less than 3 bucks a share on sgx beating a nasdaq listed micron that's worth more than 80 bucks per share. Dumbassery to the max.

Erm.. fyi higher share price does not equate to higher market cap. although micron has a higher market cap. nevertheless, in local context, singtel is indeed much more attractive.

Dude, it won't be a joke when you see singtel buys over micron. From the local context, singtel is better hands down.

Yeah man, we have to look at this from the local context and Singtel is better. Unless you are specifically aiming to work overseas, in which yes i agree Micron will offer better opportunities due to their global scale. If you know you just want to develop your career within SG, then thr is no doubt Singtel is better.
Just bcos micron is way bigger on a global scale doesn't automatically make it a better choice. u have to think abt the scale of its operations in singapore alone and the kind of work available in sg in micron and the strategic important of sg for micron. and when u balance it out against the opportunities for u in singtel, singtel is definitely better in the local context
