Fast forward 7.5 years later, my salary was $150k p.a. It's reaching 10th year of my work life now and it is $240k p.a.
Just need to keep going, learn as much as possible - at work and out of work and you never know where things will take you. Also i don't think one should be too proud about a high pay package as well - the higher you climb, the harder you fall. In times of pandemic like these, who needs an investment banker or management consultant?
In fact, we need the tireless grocery store packers to continue working, the logistics industry to ensure the supply chain continues and our delivery riders/drivers braving the rain and heat to continue bringing us our food.

Diploma pay if not wrong should be 2250 for male with ns. They usually have 2 intake one in Feb and another in August. August intake should be open now, usually the intake is anywhere between 20 to 40+ a batch. A mix of both diploma and degree holders. This is an aptitude based job; some people have it in them while majority of the population doesn't have it in them.
There will be 2 interview and an aptitude test ( something like airforce pilot COMPASS test), during my time is aptitude test follow by the 2 interview. Last I heard they changed the order... I am not that sure what is the current order.
P.S 2250 is when u r a trainee and there is also allowance i think is 5% now. When you pass it is gonna be 3650 regardless of qualification. 3650 is base and u will have i think 12% allowance ( not sure current rate for single rated controllers).
The bond only starts when u r rated controller. The training last anywhere from 1 year to 2 year.
I leave due to my own reason. I want to understand the world from different perspective. Don't worry about the job, its a small community. Very family like when u pass. Its a good paying job especially for Dip holders.
