Big 4 is like BMT lah. All below average, average, and slightly above average grads go through it. A decent training ground but you don't expect to stay there forever. Some grads are slightly more zai than others so they are considered "Leadership Batch" equivalent, i.e. aiming for partner track.

All those "perks" and "welfare initiative" to make Big 4 seem hip, prestigious and employee-friendly are the equivalent of giving recruits a canteen and gym on Pulau Tekong. It is there, but the majority of the time you're facedown in the mud getting tekan-ed.

Those exceptional grads who go into banks straightaway are like direct intake Commandos.

For all you zhabors and foreign talents, BMT = basic military training.

got my offer rescinded this morning. KPMG. sigh. thought all the rescinding was over already.. guess I couldn't escape

heard intern offers had been rescinded previously

just got offered deloitte audit lol should i take? i applied tax but they only accepting audit..

i do have a final round interview with Bloomberg coming up soon
