Subsequently I found myself in another developer role which I have held on to since then. I believe it is a blessing in disguise, my new company is also assisting me to fight this case lol.

They mentioned this is between me and the recruiter. The employer let me go without serving any notice.

Just argue that the recruiter mismatch your profile to a job that you cannot meet. As such, you are dismissed by employer.

You can also further argue that recruiter did not properly assessed candidate.

Looks like those cui type - adecco, recruit express etc

I have used this as well. Judge asked for JD.
Recruiter say their job only to find candidate for cilent.
Whether education/skills match anot up to cilent.

Unfortunately Lost. Got to pay the recruiter.
