ex hr lied to new employer
 

hi, ex hr from my ex company lied to new employer and provided false information during my background checks. the background of this HR is she is very prone to error, super unprofessional and runs her mouth. please help advise, as the false information has severely damaged my reputation

Do u have documentary evidence of the lie?

Let say she say you got bad performance for past few years? Then u can just whip out ur promotion and appraisal letters in ur previous company to refute it

Or u could ask ur previous supervisors and manager to vouch for you.

If you want to pursue a legal case, need documentary evidence.

Thanks that’s what I did . Still there is a dent in my reputation because of her false claims, please pm directly if needed . My main gripe is manh employers will contact her directly right so technically I don’t stand a chance to even back up my evidence during background checks

Always provide multiple references to prevent this type of case
