Expected since my boss said there are many MX11s where I work and competition is stiff.

First, both of you are not even in the same substantive grade. Someone in a higher substantive grade will get a higher quantum of PB compared to a junior officer getting a better performance grade.

Second, uniformed personnel, due to the nature of the job, will naturally earn a higher quantum than a civilian staff, even if they share the same performance grade and substantive grade. Not everyone wants/can work in uniform. Demand and supply.

So unkind. The grades are lousy, yes, but it is very good progression. 1 promo a year. CEP is high. This is a high flier. Will diao a few years at grade 11 to gain operational experience. But gain experience at grade 11 pay when others gaining at grade 12 pay. Good right. Will be given projects to perform.

Grade 11, performance C, 2.5 mths

Disappointed. Just promoted last year so risk of default C is high. But was a busy year. Boss gave very good rating at appraisal. Mostly "exceeding" a few competent.

When I was slacking at grade 12 I also get C.

The world works in a certain way, just go with the flow.
