not encouraging for transferring? Is that a correct signal? It shows that the agency that you are leaving is super petty and not looking at the bigger picture.

Got 3x last year but 1.5x this year. Mx12. Not sure why, I did more last year than the year I got 3x in. It seems like my promotion trajectory is halted if its according to the 2 consecutive B thing.

It would seem like some bosses will not give consistently good grades to high performers, in order to ensure "fairness" for the poorer performers, to help them get better grades and perhaps possible promotion for them?
Looks like for high performers under such bosses, they are the occasional sacrifices for the organisation?

Why my PB lower
I’m MX 12 PB grade C+ only 1.6. But my friend from other ministry got 1.9 even though same MX 12 and grade C+. Anyone knows why?

I’m faced with the same scenario and situation as you.
I’m currently in a division that was formed specifically because of Covid, for the management of a marginalized group in SG (not hard to guess where I’m from).
The headcount is set to be slashed drastically in the next few months. Can’t bear to sit around and wait for the emplacement, so quickly planned my exit strategy. All i can say is, I’m glad I can tender come 1st April peacefully, keep my PB and embark on a new career path.
Honestly it does suck that CS jobs are no longer a straightforward means to a stable i.e. permanent job but i guess that just means nothing is certain in this life.
