C+, C, C have a quantum cut of around 0.15-0.20 months

A, B remains the same.. C- not so low lah.

C+, C are slightly lower.

Keep the high performers by taking from the lower performers.

that's kinda silly. They usually target the superscale first rather than a broad approach.

Staff at lower pay scale rely a lot on their bonuses, it will be extremely shortsighted for them to bear equal brunt of the weak economy.

Doesn't make sense to cut from the average performers while the high performers maintain lor. Bulk of the civil service will fall within C or C+.

I heard new psd directive that mentioned that they are removing the subgrades for pb (b+, c+) although they still keeping them for ranking/performance purposes. I.e., you can get c+ ranking but only be allocated a c pb. Anyone can verify that this is the case?

There is no differentiation for A and B. Maybe a high B or low B.

But for C, there is C+.

Not many people fall within A and B so they keep the PB quantum high to entice people to work harder.

But these PB only applies to timescale officers. Superscale officers are taking pay cut for PB.
