You better check your intranet or circular for the details. Usually can only tender from the beginning of the following month and need serve finish notice. E.g. if bonus paid in 12 Dec, can only tender from 1 Jan and last day 31 Jan (28/29 Feb if 2 month notice).

Where specifically should I be looking? Sorry for my severe ignorance. I am looking to leave asap, but without forgoing the performance bonus. Thanks.

Just leave. The bonus is not worth it.
Since bonus is issued in March, u can tender in April.
If serve 2 months notice means u leave in June

Think it follows appraisal year, not calendar year.
