Is there any chance of pay increment if jump from one public sector to another?

if transfer of svc, no unless the scheme is vastly different.

if resign and join, minimal so as to offset your loss of bonus

You got your promo letter from your boss? Or from HRP

That's small-minded. It's always better to have an intuitive team that knows what to do and when to flag issues or questions. Or who even question your instructions and provide even better ways of doing a task when they have one.

Always found it a joy to have such team members rather than mindless robots who need input for each and every step. Those kinds tend not to have any common sense and will make you angry.

Well maybe not you lol.

Thank you for sharing your experience. One of the most sound responses thus far. It also takes a lot of confidence and moral courage to work with people with diverse views and not being afraid to be challenged when an alternative is better.

Reading the other comments on this thread on this topic made me wonder at the number of sycophants who have been promoted to the point of incompetence and wasting taxpayers’ money.

Unregistered 31-03-2022 11:49 PM

Will promo letter be available on HRP tomorrow?

Yeah. It speaks volumes about your "leadership" (or lack thereof) if you are only able to manage yes men.... *fake smile*

In SG politics, 'yes man" become minister like Edwin Tong. "No man" maximum rank is LOTO (Pritam Singh). You decide which one is better.

If your current pay and the next grade pay does have a big gap, I think it is possible.

Is there a public service salary revision this year?

Unregistered 04-04-2022 12:48 AM

Question

May I know what’s the next level after MX10? Is there a MX10a?

What mx are you? I don't think you will ask about mx10a if you are currently at mx10.

Lol are u kidding me? GEO is on a higher pay scale as compared to MX. GEO are considered specialist scehem since they teach students and grad from NIE. Whereas MX is a generalist scheme. Normally they will pay more for specialist scheme such as GEO or HTX scheme.

You are kidding right? MX scheme is the worst paying among public service cos it’s a generic scheme.

Got my promo letter in the mail. ~7.5% increase from MX11 to MX11A. Seems like they also lowered the starting salary for MX11A range...
