where got people mx 12 to mx 11 in one year one? some more mx12 grade C. since when C grade can promote.

full of BS. even more powerful then lee hsien loong. even the PM also cant mx 12 to 11 in one year....

Not the original poster but actually I have seen this happen before once or twice in the CS. Quite rare and not the norm. But it's possible even if you are not a scholar. Usually happens when there are very few middle managers around doing your scope of work (some kind of specialist role), your performance is relatively good, your boss is quite powerful and like you. Agree. I have done the same MX13 to MX11 in 2 years la, but people forget the pain that comes with this sort of promotion. Work easily 12hrs a day plus weekends, cover for boss who quit and colleague who MC all the time. You want is possible one. But even if stars are aligned, the amount of work is something which has to be done for your boss to push for you. Think carefully about what you are envying.

Merit Increment

Hi guys!

Just wondering if the Merit Increment is the same every year..

Is it true that for default C the MI is a standard $204?
What about C+?

MX12 here, got a C+ this year but the MI I got is less than $204 when I got a C last year.

Hi all, does anyone knows if the MI (in terms of percentage) decreases as the years goes by despite having a consistent Grade? Eg. One with a C grade in 2010 got a 5% increment but only 3% increment in 2014 with the same grade.

Increment depends on 3 things. Cep, performance grade and state of economy. It an absolute amt increment. Never in percentage.
