Yes correct. Performance grading is based on previous work year.

Mine one is mx base pay plus allowance. But bonus that time is calculated base on mx base pay. So emgm 1.5mth = mx pay×1.5mth no count inside the allowanced.

Hi Seniors, promotion increment depends on appraisal grading or CEP ?? Any idea the promotion increment is roughly how many percent ? Will HR email you to inform that you have been promoted on 1st March ??

it depends on both your last grading and your CEP.

Promotions are wef from 1 Apr. Typically officers will receive their PB letters + promotion letter (for those promoted) sometime in mid March.

PB payout is usually in the third or fourth week of March. So promotees will be informed in about three weeks' time.

there isn't because merit is based on a combination of performance grade + CEP.

It would depend on the job grade, and also ministries have some leeway to increase/decrease the quantum.

but typically for a junior officer in the MX12 payscale, C is around 1.5 months, C+ is around 2 months, B is around 2.5 months.

Even overall ranking is high, i believe no promotion will be offered coscountersign officer did not support for promotion.

hello, new CS here who joined in July 2021. read in another thread that new CS will only receive merit increment 1 year after they have joined service (for me that would be July 2022). subsequently, these new CS will receive merit increment in March/April like the rest.

could i check whether this is accurate? thank you!
