From $192 merit increment, dropped to $132. Slightly lower PB but grading is C+ like last year but merit increment dropped.

Why such variation in merit increment? Some say every year their increment is $300 plus then some is only 100+? Something to do with MX scheme? What about increment for MX12B?

The upcoming pay revision is only equivalent to about one year pay increment only...

Used to get such increments when I was in Civil Service too. Now, I'm at a tech firm, my increment when promoted is 23%. Non-promo years are 3-4%

Wonder how long the SPS can retain talent with such low promo increments.

What is the average non promo increment for MX11? 3 to 4% is pretty common in MNC.

Unregistered 08-04-2021 04:00 PM

Is 3.5% increment normal for C grade at MX11??? Seems insufficient to keep even pace with inflation, much less achieve any growth.

I got 1.4 last year and 1.35 month this year. Definitely disappointed. I am AD and got the good rating.

Seems low. In addition to this 1.4, did you get a 13th month?
I know mas has no 13th month, so just wondering if you excluded that part considering it as 13th month

Yes, i do not have 13th month in MAS, or in my previous companies in private sector. That's why i feel like i can compare it directly with my previous companies' bonuses. For reference, my 2017 bonus is 1.44 months, 2018: 1.64 (best), 2019: 1 (worst, that's why i quit within 1 year). All bonuses have been pro-rated to 1 full-year's worth. Otherwise my actual mas 2020 bonus is only 0.7 months bc i joined in June 2019 only.

I am completely aware that my bonus is low. However, doesn't seem like there's anything I can do, as whether i'm offered a new job or not depends on the economy as a whole. So far i planned to stay at MAS longer bc i don't want to seem like too much of a job hopper as my last job i quit within 1 year.

In my 1st year n received the bonus last week. Got a good rating (AD grade) and given just 1 mth bonus. Disappointed with the bonus payout, not sure if pre-covid days, mas also issue such bonus? Anyone gt any idea?
