Is your bosses that matter…push for u…Cfm promoted. Dun push for u…whatever u deliver is crap

Rule of thumb is min 2 Bs, anything less than that the supervisor wish to push also difficult because it cannot stand up to scrutiny by the rest of the mgt. e.g. if capable, why can’t attain at least a B in current ranking…

my 2nd year in CS, currently almost hitting MX11 ceiling (7.4), but not yet emplaced, not sure if i will get promoted also. i am turning 30 this year, and have concerns regarding job security and progression, talked to my RO but didn't really get anything concrete out of it. any idea if i can get promoted without getting emplaced?

You cannot be promoted before being emplaced. Speaking of which, usually emplacement takes place during year 1 and you are in year 2. Are you on a contract?

On contract, my director just spoke to me this morning regarding another 2 year contract extension, and during this period he will try to get 2 more headcount (MMF). I will go find other opportunities in meantime also I guess.

Contact with benefits like PB and medical?.. im 40 and only 6k, so shadddd

is it possible to get a C+ or B when i am still under contract? Or these grades are only for emplaced staff?

Correct, had prorated PB in 2024, and have 500 CSC. The only diff according to my boss is that I'm on supernumerary headcount, so my contract will be till end of 2026 if I don't get emplaced before then. I'm not counting on it though, will continue looking.
