When will we know we will be promoted? Is there a notice before the actual promotion in April?

Usually your normal pay is credited on the 12th March. Then the PB bonus will be credited later like 21-22 of March.

There is generally 3 ways.

1) You know the month before in March, officially.
2) You are promoted in the Promotion Year but effective from a different calendar year. For example, you are promoted in Promotion Year 2024 with effect from 1 Jan. This generally relates to anniversary promotions at lower job grades. Recently, this is a common phenomena and intended to retain talents, i.e. by telling you this year that you will be promoted next year.
3) Your boss informs you that a push for your promotion was made, and it has been endorsed by the highest authority. You either know it at this point or at point #1.
