local uni, 2nd upper hons, non high flier, average performer can hit what grade Huh?

It's hard to say but if your results is decent and get to be recruited into cs, at least grade 10. I would say grade 9 which starts at 11110, ends 15280(bar) is really for branch/div heads which constitute 15% of generic graduates.

MX12, prorated MI 4.7%

Why given prorated MI?

Is it due to change of scheme from MS to MX last year?

Wow, pretty good if a normal local uni 2nd upper average performer can hit grade 10 (and get 9 to 10K) subsequently.

MX scheme not bad, better than moe GEO scheme.

That is assuming the officer attains mx10 or mx9 eventually; teachers are better paid even if they remain at GEO5, not counting their good merit increment yearly as well as their connect plan and now defunct LDS.

Mx11A better than GEO 5 still

Well the inside story - MXs in MOE regularly compare their overall pay with their teacher counterparts. Like wat is known, there are perks given to teachers, the MXs would like to have too. Over teachers' work career, they will receive a total of about $170,000 in connect plan. That translate to - only MXs earning >$7900(est), could surpass the teachers pay, even if teachers have reached the max.of 7500(est) coz of the average $5700 extra per annum they get from connect plan spreaded out over 30yrs. End day, it is equitable

Yes, but MX11 is supposed to be the same ranking as SEO1 but the pay scale is lower. Go figure for MX11A.
