What does re-designation mean and what is the purpose of it?

MX10 SAD become MX10 DD

Or MX11 AD become MX11 SAD

Same pay but more responsibilities. But also do more can get higher grades. Typically MX10 SADs are ranked behind MX10 DDs unless they have very good CCAs performance

AD or SAD should be MX11A
