Hi, I joined civil service in May last year. Will I be eligible for pb if I leave after one year contract in May this year?

As a general rule, any organisation with a young management (40s and below) will mean better and fairer opportunities for promotion.
The worst justification for not promoting an outstanding staff in her early 30s to manager that I've ever heard was "she is too young". This was from someone in old senior management team.
"YOUNG"... _|_

PB is awarded in 31 Mar and the person has to stay on at least 1 month after that.

for time-scale scheme like MX, a B may accelerate promotion but there are time norms associated with each position (min time in grade).

Must stay for one month after it is distributed, but your pb may hit your account earlier than end of March. Just be aware, can tender whenever but end of service just end of April would be best
