Does anyone knows how is CEP computed for fresh local university graduates?
What are the influencing factors?
Any chances of review as career progresses?
TIA!

Unfortunately cep is fixed . Farmer cep is senior manager at career retirement assuming good performance.
You should have studied harder and get a scholarship.
That being said job is stable and bonus are good in the agriculture sector.

Not true. CEP can and do change. BUT it is not yearly change.... although a yearly review is conducted...

Farmer CEP starts at about 3 grades above entry point BUT after awhile if you are a B performer your CEP should be at DD level. For A normally will be D level..

Yes you will be. Your 2017 bonus is prorated. The total amt of bonus u get from 2017 is

The amount you get =no of days you worked in 17/no of working days in 17
≈0÷300
=0

Er which means I won't get any PB since I'll be joining in Jan 2018 and never work in 2017?

Wow... not the sharpest tool in the shed ah... thought the previous poster made the answer crystal clear. Should be interesting if you do end up joining in 2018 and ask similar questions at work.

does a DD in LTA/MOE hold more weight (and salary) than a DD in MTI/MCYS?
DD in LTA/MOE seems to be very big shots.

Don't think DD in LTA are very big shots. There are directors and group directors above them.

i think we can just tender a day after we receive the PB in our bank account, and serve one month notice? i am not too sure too.

from my understanding, it should be -->
full PB will happen if you work from 1 Jan 2017 to 31 Dec 2017.
PB usually come in end March.
you can and should only tender the next day after you get your PB
and serve one month notice from that date.

need confirmation too. if not, i will just ask HR after I got my bonus.
or ask ex-public servants

I do not know why people are still asking such questions online, where their intranet, just refer to the HR policy, its written clearly and given examples for both 1 month notice personnel and 2 months notice.

Please check in with your HR if you are not sure, otherwise just spend 5 mins to read the HR guide (SOP / guides)

Sadly no...if you hit the salary cap, you have Hentak Kaki (aka reached your CEP) and thus will not receive any merit increments henceforth....however, you will still receive your annual mid-year, end-year, performance bonuses.

They do adjust the salary ceiling every few years to adjust for inflation, but your best hope is that there is a salary review and significant wage adjustment for that grade.

If you have hit the cap, likely you may be mid 40s and CEP at 11a. You will probably get your promotion towards your 50s and that's it until retirement. There is never auto-promotion.

Nope.. PB is given for work done from jan to dec the previously year, and pro rated accordingly.

Unregistered 10-03-2018 11:22 AM

Joined in Dec last year. Prorated PB quantum 1.86, my stat board grade is equivalent to MX12. Very lucky and happy that I still have PB for work done in Dec.

Unregistered 10-03-2018 01:36 PM

My stat board only payout end of this month and I only get to know when my boss passes me the letter in the last week of this month...

Consecutive Bs

Hoping some laojiaos can shed some light...if a particular Uniformed Junior Officer gets 2 consecutive Bs...will be considered for promotion? Anyone familiar with promotion basic criterias? Or ultimately it depends on his CEP?

Thanks in advance!

Without CEP, you can go 4-5 years before a promotion even with B grades. With CEP, you can be promoted in 2 years with B grades. Average officer is 3 years promotion timeline.

Congrats bro. "B" grade you will get smelly smelly
13 months + 3 months + 3 months + 1 month =
1.1 MILLION :D

Unregistered 16-03-2018 10:48 PM

There is a range for B but I've got 2.75 months for B previously.

Unregistered 16-03-2018 11:49 PM

Anybody knows if take ML will affect performance grade? I took my PG today, this year B and last year B. My third year only. My boss said something like if another officer works very hard and achieves the same output might have to take my B because they shown improvements. And hint me that next year is C. I haven’t promoted, next yr if C I won’t get promoted right?

I asked if its because i am
Pregnant she indirectly told me she cannot justify a B when i am ard 8months and others around for 12. Is it really true being pregnant affects your PG?

Unregistered 16-03-2018 11:53 PM

Is it out?
