I see, congrats on that.
I find local girls expectations are quite high when comes to salary expectations of their partners. I was unable to date local girls due to my low salary, am dating a vietnamese lady now.
Planning to get married but not anytime soon due to financial constraints. Need to save more first

I am currently working as an exec in one of the public uni in sg
(*cough* the one that keeps appearing in the news recently *cough*)
so as title says, im going to be promoted to senior executive next year january.
i did a comparison between my annual salary increment from 2018-19 and 2019-20.
my annual increment from 2018-2019 was 5.67% i had a small additional bump with mobile phone allowance
my annual increment from 2019-2020 is 6.50% after my promotion to SE. (this 0.83% difference feels very underwhelming for myself even after taking into consideration of the bad economic environment for this 2 years)
so here comes the question, in Feb 2020 it will be my 3rd year with my Uni. should i start looking for better opportunities outisde?
my fellow friends who work in public unis how is ur increment n bonus in 2019/20?

I am sorry but what's up with the "the one that keeps appearing in the news recently"???? If you are ashamed of where you work then please leave so opportunity is given for those who can contribute and are happy with their work place. For God sake, please leave if you care so much about your reputation working for a uni that's on the news.

How do you know your bonus for 2020? In the university you are working for, performance bonus has not been announced.
What is the upside for senior executive? You should know the top of the salary scale. If this is something you are not happy with, you should leave early. There aren't many career progression opportunities in a university for non-academics.

Hi, could I check what the base pay for Senior Executive is, not factoring in the increment? I mean the monthly salary not including the performance bonus.

A lot of them are very materialistic and only cares about whether you have a car or can afford to go for quarterly holidays. So shallow until can puke. Pui.
