Got to work yourself up. Or rather, work your CEP up.

Thanks for your estimate! Another newbie question I'm gonna ask. Other than MX9H, what are the other alphabets?
I didn't know within mx9 itself, there are different levels also

Merit increment was out last night.
MI is not dependent on CEP. It is a standard rate (5%) across everyone of my grade (10).
For grades 11 and 12, I understand that it is a fixed quantum (either 2XX or 3XX) instead of a fixed rate.

I'm appointed MX12 with about 700+ to ceilling, is my first civil service job.
Currently 33yrs old, with NS, graduated overseas with a pass degree and a masters
worked 8 year at related fields
What is my likely CEP?

Either 11A or 10 if u r lucky. I don't think it is a 9

a colleague of mine moved from mx11 to mx11a in 2 years. so it may not take so long.

I did a random calculation, I assumed a 4% annual increment and assumed no promotion increment. At 46, earning almost 130k/year, i think not too bad already..
