as oper told by the job agency, this is a position which will be servicing for the project & support for government institutes...really curious about the working environment and working pressure

Perhaps around 4k for your position. For a permanent position, it's not too bad. You will get 13th month bonus + average 2 month variable bonus.
What everyone is saying is true. NCS is a budget company. Most people only spend a few years there then jump ship for a better salary.

sgd 4k, 14k, 40k forever not enuff for the average person living in singapore.
pls giv up this position to assist high unemployment rate of fresh graduates looking for permanent positions with a good headstart in their careers.

From NCS
I was from NCS in managerial position.
If what you have applied for is a senior position as a specialist, not a programmer, and not a PM, then S$4K+ is the reasonable expectation. If you do well as contract, you'll have a chance to be converted to permanent staff after 1 year.
But as previous poster has mentioned, you have to ask whether you will be working from client's place or from NCSHub, because working at client's place means less benefits and it will also be difficult for you to nail down your lodging location. You'll also have to content with reporting to the client's PM in addition to your own (a nightmare).
