Lol they are not......... its only a guarantee that they wont withdraw offers if u get an offer but conversion rates are the same or worse depending on which business unit u apply for

Yup I know Citi are offering all interns guaranteed FT offers. Unfortunately, its not Citi.

Want to get a feel on how headcount for 2021 / conversion would look like for 2020 SAs across GS/JPM/MS (MO & BO)

If youíre in BO, chances are is that they have headcount to convert 80%+ of intake similar to previous years. All that is required from you is to perform.

BO - devs are always in demand, automation of systems is all the rage now esp with civic
MO - usually hired as direct hire and not part of MA programmes. Iím surprised if they do take interns into MO. If they do - usually means they have headcount.

The view is that this covid will pass , worst case is that they wonít give you an immediate offer but youíre on the top of their list once hiring freeze (if any for fresh grads). Always perform. Think about the rest later.

Thanks for the advice!

Will be part of ops/risk/analytics rather than dev though.

Btw, internships will be virtual this year. Hopefully I will be able to perform remotely somehow haha.
