Mind sharing which desk you are on and whether this is a European or american bank? And which year assoc are you? I'm a 2nd year assoc, and pay for last year was ~220k base and 70% bonus. Don't want to give away too much but i work on a structuring desk at a bulge. Seems like i am being lowballed

Since we are doing this, current assoc at a BB IBD, pay for last year as an analyst was 170k + 170k all cash. Got my A2A promotion at the start of the year and already having turned down 2 PE offers. Bump up in base to 240 and from what i hear bonus at associate level start to really take off. For all the juniors out there keep grinding it out! Pain is temporary jiayou!

Hi everyone - anyone can share some insight into progression in a VC as a first job fresh out of university. I do not have investment banking experience, nor an MBA.
Will my career progression be hindered because of the above factors?
What salary and increment can I look forward to?
