Full time job while taking part time degree - worth to take an internship?

I have a accounting diploma and am taking part time IT degree now.
I have 1 1/2 years of accounts experience and am drawing about 2.4k.

I tried applying for developer roles (non-support) but none of them want to hire me because I don't have experience. Is it worth taking an internship and take a intern pay (800-1.2k?) to help me get my next job?

I still have 2 years before I complete my degree.
