The work to be honest isn't very exciting nor meaningful, and you are expected to pull long hours.
The lower salary also doesn't really help. And they gave only a $100 salary increment at the end of my first year with no promotion despite having above average rating for my period end review.

IBD/SnT pay bump
Seems like US pay for IBD/SnT was bumped to USD110k but in sg we are still only receiving SGD130k+ as opposed to the SGD145-150k that it should be based on exchange rates. Does anyone know if the banks plan to bump it up again?
Will be quite annoyed since the banks in sg used to match US pay almost exactly based on nominal exchange rates, when it was USD85k to SGD115k.

Need to add bonus, stocks, etc. for better pay comparison
We need to include other pay components such as 1) annual bonuses and 2) stock units for better comparison. Base pay is not indicative. I know various roles here that have bonuses + stock that bring their total compensation obscenely high.
Example 1:
IB earns upwards of 18.3K/mth instead of 11K/mth in a good year. Gd yr gets 8m bonus and base/mth is 11K, then total compensation (TC) is 11K x 20 = 220K per annum = 18.3K per month.
Example 2:
Tech earns upwards of 12K/mth instead of 8.3K/mth. Base of 100K per annum + annual bonus of 3mth + stock units of 80K vesting over 4y which brings avg annual TC of 100K/annum+8.33K/mth x 3mth + 80K/4y = 145K.
Example 3:
Tech Sales (6K to 9K) vs Random MA program of (5K to 6.25K/mth). Both with 5K base: 1) but Tech Sales gets stock units, bigger bonuses, and commission. 2) While SG MA gets only a 3mth performance bonus.
Based on MOM's definition:
For employees, it refers to the gross monthly wages or salaries before deduction of employee CPF contributions and personal income tax. It 1) comprises basic wages, 2) overtime pay, 3) commissions, 4) tips, 5) other allowances 6) and one-twelfth of annual bonuses.
