contract job vs permanent role
Hi, my friend is an EP holder in Singapore. He has two job offers on hand. Both are software developers. One is a full time job, working for a young startup , no bonus, no stock option, salary is SGD4.7K. Another is a 6 month contract job with venture-capital backed startup (think Grab, Garena) with salary $6.5K also no stock option and no bonus, but possible for contract extension or convertible to full time (subject to circumstances). Which one should he accept?
