contract job vs permanent role
Hi, my friend is an EP holder in Singapore. He has two job offers on hand. Both are software developers. One is a full time job, working for a young startup , no bonus, no stock option, salary is SGD4.7K. Another is a 6 month contract job with venture-capital backed startup (think Grab, Garena) with salary $6.5K also no stock option and no bonus, but possible for contract extension or convertible to full time (subject to circumstances). Which one should he accept?

Forgot to mention that the full time job offers bi-annual performance review and comes with other benefits

What is the difference? Looks like the person will quit and look for a new job after 1 year.
