Really hate it when outsiders say cs slack or do minimal work. Come and try it then say it again. Often working till 11pm and on weekends. Tell me it's slack. For $4-5k.

Exactly! people dont realise the amount of work done and the effort needed. Sometimes its crazy and you start wondering if it's all worth it. Sigh.

Now u are saying that it may happen in August or beyond, instead of July. It is so obvious you are trying to dampen CS people's morale.

Oh dear, you are losing it. Get a life!

so what if it's not announced yet, could be anywhere in june-august.

they might want to hold elections first before announcing pay cut, so as not to affect votes.

Pls..i am working in a min and is so stressed (often OT-ing / worrying abt work after work hours) that I had to see professional mental support. Pls do not discredit the work that people in CS do, and give future candidates a wrong picture of CS.

Hi friend, may I check what type of role are you involved in? Are you part of senior mgt that's why workload so heavy? Considering if I should join CS and just wanted to know what I am in for. Thank you for your advice!
