Logical estimate
2009 recession - growth was negative 2% to 2.5% and we still got $750 one time lump sum.
This year growth forcast is 0.5% to 1%. So 0.1 month is unlikely as some people mentioned!!
Looking forward, growth for 2020 is expected between 0.5% and 2.5%.
Based on past data.
1.1% growth - 0.5 month
1.9% growth - 0.65 month
So estimate shd be 0.35 month.

As I mentioned previously, the negotiations are tougher this year. Let’s wait while remembering that the final decision should not only take into consideration the sentiments on the ground (whichever way it goes) but also the economic situation. Public Service has always placed great emphasis on financial prudence, yet embracing the people who have put service above all.
