Isn't it pegged to private sector and based on economy? Not hopeful at all in getting MAC this year :(

I would think so.
Right now, they are promoting inward spending to keep whatever economy going.
But I am expecting CPF cut at the employer side. That is why the NWC is meeting up soon.
