Can cut pay first. Then when economy recover next Apr then restore pay and go for election.

Teachers under MOE already receive their increment back in Apr last mth. Are u guys sure the remaining civil servants will receive paycut?

Yes very very likely.

very difficult to justify civil service bonus when pte sector is retrenching leh

Continued pay increment will strike a chord of discordance

Civil service is for the people. Servants of people, when people are suffering how can we continue accord bonus to ourselves.

Hopefully just no bonus but no paycut

There should be a spilt between essential and non essential sectors. Paycut are individual company strategy. Some may choose to go for retrenchment and even closing down business. Even in this bad times, some business is booming. Even in govt sector, there are essential and non essential. Just hope that everything will be back to normal by end of the year.
