Wow congrats to your friend! I haven't heard anything for the Commercial side... did your friend specify that he wanted the sales & trading analytics role or did they assign the role for him? And any idea when will they notify us if we get offered or rejected?

Hey, yeah he specified his interest in second round of interviews lah! So thats how he thinks he got it. No clue as to when we'll get to know. I haven't heard back. I think they give out offers depending on when u had interview. He had 2nd round in last week of September so.
Have you or any of ur friends heard back?

Icic, I indicated my area of interest during the 2nd round interview as well, but it wasn't under the same department as my interviewers. So I'm not sure if that would create a disadvantage for myself...

Actl I had mine during the last week of Sep too! but still no news yet hahaha. I haven't heard of anyone getting offers except for your friend. Not sure if anyone else can advise when do they usually inform us about the outcome??

My friend who interned at technical at Exxon got his conversion today! Offers should be out soon to certain candidates .

I emailed the Thailand HR team to ask and they said I passed the second round interview but they still waiting for confirmation and position. They are still filtering people at the moment and it’s so stressful, think my chances are Low already?

Anyone else got good news from them already? Apart from the person on 22nd October?

Hey can I ask when you emailed the HR and when they reply? Some of friends of mine who emailed them earlier this month got same response as you. But when I email her, they never reply me. I think everyone pass 2nd round sia. The way the work i think is, give intern conversion first and then give out offers to rest of candidates. So I dont think passing 2nd round means anything. We should hopefully hear by early Dec?

I emailed the HR team as well! They mentioned that they are still identifying the final list of candidates to be offered and the discussion is still ongoing. But there's no explicit mention of me passing the second round interview. Does this mean my application is not successful??

I emailed the HR last Wednesday, and they got back to me one day later, saying that they will inform us as soon as the discussions are concluded. I am a bit conflicted now because I am pending another job offer at the same time, but I would preferably like to hear back from Exxon first... Would really appreciate if anyone else can provide any info about their final selection of candidates!

Hey man. I'll be honest with you. I emailed them a while ago and I got the same reply as you saying that they're in final stage of processing applications. They didnt say I passed 2nd round but my friends who emailed them about 3 weeks all got the response they passed 2nd round and that they'll reach out accordingly.

From what I've heard from current interns and seniors alike is that, their process is very vague and passing the 2nd round doesn't mean anything. Their interview is behavioural, so if can pass 1st round, can also pass 2nd round ma. They offer current interns conversion first and then go to external candidates and offer based on them preference/availability. So people only hear back December/Jan. If you have better offer, I'd recommend taking it and not waiting. Also they generally have fewer commercial positions than technical(since expanding SG factory so more technical).
