GTP is overrated. It is not a MA programme (unlike UOB and DBS MAP) and there is no fast track. The only things that differentiate this programme from direct hires are that you can rotate to different departments and attend training courses during the programme. After that, you are just like a direct hire. Many GTs/YBs use this programme as a stepping stone to international banks or MNCs. No local uni grad worth their salt will stay in a local bank for more than 2-3 years, unless they are fast tracked for management.

omg it's not fast tracked? why is it called a "talent program" then? does this mean GTPs start at the lowest grade similar to direct hire fresh grads?
