Lol, tell that to my batchmates who have indeed gotten close to that. I'm from tech and our increments are similar.

Ah yes. There's a very big range in terms of pay grade even for the same rank. General rule of thumb is as follows, at least for BO (Tech):
1. Pay jumps approx. 20% for each promotion
2. For years without promotion, there's generally a ~5% increment up to a certain cap for a given rank

General (average) promotion speeds are around 2-4 years from M6 onwards, depending on performance.

The high end for AVP4 is ~12k. AVPs make up the bulk of the ranks in the company.

A VP3 makes between 13k to 18k. Note that the higher end of this band generally comes from those being poached from other banks/companies.

True. My top performing friends are drawing 7.5k after 2 years. Don't whine just cause you cannot make it.

Wow, 7.5k after two years is really commendable. Given our base is 4.6k, that's like 30% increment after first year, followed by 25% increment :O

4.6k base pay, no 13 month AWS, but eligible for variable bonus and 21 days annual leave. btw, FYI, HR usually takes ard 1-2 working days after the final interview round before extending an offer if you're their first choice. I previously interviewed on a Friday evening and got offered on Monday! After which, your application on their portal will be marked as 'Successful' and not 'Completed'.
