Salaries for Tech Product Manager
 

Hi, I have four years of experience in mobile/web product management. Currently awaiting confirmation of offers from both Grab and Shopee for their product manager position. Anyone has any benchmark of payscale for PM from these 2 companies, or the current market rate for someone with similar experience as me? I know they pay quite well for software engineers, but not sure about PMs.

At least 10-12k ... anything lower you are lowballed..

good companies more or less will pay however much you can ask for, assuming you pass all their req and interviews. and you can somehow prove u're worth what you ask for.
having said that, grab has higher standards in hiring PMs, whereas i know shopee has been hiring incompetent PMs. i personally know 2 who struggled and failed terribly in their roles as PM, but later got hired by shopee.

Good companies know that it is the job scope alignment eith career goals that is important. Pay is secondary and they will endeavour to match the candidate expectations if the person is good
